Hello, I'm Luca Secco. With a solid background in Cinema and Media Engineering, I specialize in real-time engines, 3D pipelines, and the creation of immersive digital environments.
This project focuses on optimizing the 3D animation pipeline. I developed a custom C++ plugin for Unreal Engine 5.6 that automates the fitting and calibration of facial accessories on MetaHuman 3D characters, significantly streamlining the setup workflow for animators.
In collaboration with the Department of Design at Politecnico di Milano, I created immersive video content for the 'Stanza Magica' at the Don Gnocchi Library. The project focuses on the emotional and spatial impact of virtual environments, transforming physical rooms into interactive, deeply engaging digital spaces for patients.
A 3D computer graphics project focused on integrating futuristic urban elements and CGI landscapes with real-life drone footage, demonstrating advanced compositing, lighting, and rendering techniques.
Developed for the Game Design course at Politecnico di Torino. As part of a team, we created a fully playable game demo where I was responsible for the visual aesthetics, 3D asset creation, and programming core gameplay mechanics within Unity.
